Our Foundation 

Paws In Partnership is the vision of an individual who believes that within everyone, there is a need that can only be filled through the companionship of a dog. 

Heidi Bonorato, Founder

Adopted as an infant, Heidi’s early childhood experiences resulted in her withdrawal from her family and loved ones.  Upon the advice of her family’s Pediatrician, her mother and father adopted a dog into the family.  The inclusion of this dog was the answer to her parents’ prayers.  She began to show affection toward others and her social and communication skills flourished.  Her experiences as a child led her into a rewarding career of veterinary medicine and service dog training.  Heidi understands the importance of the human-canine bond and has dedicated her life to strengthening and developing its roles within our lives. 

Our Future

Our future is opportunity, adhering firmly to our mission; assisting individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of independence through the partnership of skilled canine companions. We envision a future of successful service dog placements and growth within our organization to support the needs of our disabled community.  We envision building a stronger community through the gained independence of disabled children who are able to function successfully in society with the assistance of a service dog.   Dedicated to our vision, and our mission, we welcome our organizations growth and development and the support of our community.
